Question: Are there rewards for the faithful and what are they?

Answer: Yes, there are rewards awaiting the faithful, according to the very promise Yeshua the Messiah has given us.

For the Son of man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His messengers, and then He shall reward each according to his works. (Mat 16:27)

There are four rewards in the form of crowns that are awaiting those who will be faithful to the end, and more particularly they are (for more insight whom the Messiah calls faithful read here):

The Crown of Life for those who endure trials to the end.

Be faithful until death, and I shall give you the crown of life. (Rev 2:10)

This reward we find in Messiah’s Letter to Smyrna. For more insight on the secrets of the Messiah hidden in His letters in Revelation, refer to the series of articles The Seven Letters to the Seven Churches in The Revelation from YHVH.

The Crown of Glory for those in humility, who serve the Lord as He wants to be served, is worthy of the Crown of Glory.

Shepherd the flock of Elohim, which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but voluntarily, not out of greed for filthy gain, but eagerly, neither as being masters over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you shall receive the never-fading crown of glory. (1Pe 5:2-4)

The Crown of Righteousness for those who have preached the Word (2Ti 4:2), fought the good fight, finished the race, guarded the faith (2Ti 4:7), and have loved, anticipated, and taught prophecy concerning His Second Coming.

For the rest, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Master, the righteous Judge, shall give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all those loving His appearing. (2Ti 4:8)

The Crown of Faithfulness we find in the Letter to Philadelphia for those who will not suffer in the tribulation.

I know your works, See, I have set before you an open door, and no one is able to shut it, that you have little power, yet have guarded My Word, and have not denied My Name. (Rev 3:8) Hold what you have that no one take your crown. (Rev 3:11)

And a thought for consideration:

If anyone’s work remains, which he has built on, he shall receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he shall suffer loss, but he himself shall be saved, but so as through fire. (1Co 3:14-15)
